Frequently Asked Questions

Pre-Trip Planning

What documentation will I need?

US Citizens need a photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport. Non US Citizens need to have a passport valid for six months beyond your return date. Birth and naturalization certificates are not acceptable forms of documentation.

Please carry your passport with you at all times. We also recommend packing a photocopy of the signature and photo pages of your passport. If your passport should get lost, the photocopy will make it much easier to get an emergency replacement.

Please check with your home country’s consulate regarding specific passport and visa requirements.

When should I arrive at the airport?

Recommended domestic and international check-in time is at least two hours prior to departures. Please call the airline or access the airline’s website to check for schedule changes/flight delays and reconfirm recommended check-in time prior to leaving for the airport.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

As is customary with group travel, no special insurance has been arranged. Some individual policies provide coverage for luggage loss or damage, and a few health plans cover overseas accidents and illness.
